A monthly series created to put fitness enthusiasts in different venues with Kansas City's top trainers. From a workout on stage at the Kauffman Center to rowing on the rooftop of Sporting KC's headquarters, attendees worked hard to earn their mimosas and coffee that followed. We liked to call it the most social workout in the city. Out with boring networking. In with SWEATWORKING! (2014-2015)

LiveKC joined forces with KCPT to spotlight a number of people in town shaping KC's identity. Each episode of this digital first series was followed by an experiential meet-up giving attendees a close up view of how they are changing our city for the better. In the Spring of 2015, LiveKC helped untrap $250,000 from a City Trust Fund that sat unused for 30 years. Its sole purpose to improve the grounds at Barney Allis Plaza. With help from a number of local architecture firms, we ordered new furniture and created a steady stream of activities to bring young people to the park on a regular basis. (2015)

This monthly series served as an opportunity to put LiveKC members face to face with the people, places and things that make our city great. Attendees bonded over shared experiences that included a collaborative mural project, an encounter with the local music scene, and reading books with students at a KC elementary school, just to name a few.
